RoMPS #8 - "Stand Up Against Myself (Credits)"

There isn't a lot of Sega Genesis music that I care for. It could have been because I was raised a Nintendo fanboy, never owned a Sega, and never formed that nostalgic connection to any of its music. It could also be because the Genesis has a very harsh-sounding synth that many composers failed to rein in. The composers of Thunder Force IV didn't really fail to rein in that harshness; they utilized it to its maximum potential and created the most metal-riffic, metal-tastic soundtrack on the system (see old RoMPS entry #003 for proof of this). That potential is present even in this relatively "light" track from the credits sequence.
